North East Safety Training Services (NESTS) is a small but specialist consultancy that provides a quality service at a price that all businesses can afford. Our services range from basic health and safety training courses through to specialist industrial training courses as well as the provision of full health and safety consultancy services. We endeavour at all times to provide our clients with the very best services and facilities available. To achieve this we aim to excel in all of our work and we have developed partnerships with other reputable companies to provide, where possible, a ‘one stop shop’.

The main partner is a highly qualified health and safety specialist with many years of experience in health and safety practice within Industry, Local Authorities and the Emergency Services both in the UK and abroad.

Our current portfolio includes some prestigious clients, some of whom have been with our company since we began. We are an accredited Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Training Centre and are able to offer a range of nationally recognised CIEH certificated courses. As a small company we are able to offer our clients total flexibility, carrying out training courses and consultancy services at times and locations to suit them.

In addition to general health and safety we also specialise in fire safety training, fire risk management and fire risk assessment. We offer a full fire safety consultancy and training service and, through our partnerships with fire safety equipment providers, are able to offer a complete service in respect of fire safety.

We hold the British Institute of Occupational Hygienists P402 Proficiency Certificate in Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos and P405 Certificate in Management of Asbestos in Buildings and are therefore able to carry out asbestos surveys and again, due to the partnerships we have developed, are able to provide a full asbestos surveying, analysis and management or removal services.
